We’re thrilled to launch @cst.makes, the brand-new Instagram account from the Community Support Team, dedicated to celebrating the creativity, collaboration, and achievements of our amazing young people.
CST Makes is all about making and doing together. It’s a space to share, showcase, and celebrate the wide range of activities, projects, and experiences our CST community are involved in – from art and photography to outdoor adventures, storytelling, volunteering, and much more.
Whether it’s painting in the Art Shed, snapping mindful moments in nature, or working side-by-side to clean up the coast, our young people are constantly creating, connecting, and contributing. And now, we’ve got a space to shine a light on it all.
What to Expect from CST Makes
Over the coming months, CST Makes will bring our community together through a series of fantastic and inspiring collaborative projects, including:
Mindfulness Photography Monthly – calming captures and thoughtful themes from our young photographers
The Twisted Tales Storytelling Project – where imagination runs wild and stories come to life
The CST Big Beach Clean – young people taking action for the planet, one tide at a timeCST Art Gallery & Art Shed Takeover – a virtual and physical space for artistic expression
CST Recipe Challenge – cooking, sharing and exploring dishes from our communities
CST Volunteers – recognising the power of giving back and the impact of youth-led action
The Look Out Forest Activities Month @ Haldon Forest – outdoor fun, forest skills and fresh air
End-of-Year Celebration at The Look Out – a joyful gathering to acknowledge and honour everything our young people have created and achieved this academic year
