Did you know that October 18th is International Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day? Members of Babcock LDP Communication and Interaction Team and Speech and Language Therapists are going to be delivering awareness raising sessions for parents and carers.
If you would like to find out more about Developmental Language Disorder please watch this short video https://www.youtube.com/user/RALLIcampaign
Does your child have language and literacy difficulties? Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) affects 7-10% of children, causing them to struggle in their learning of oral language as well as impacting on their literacy development.
If you would like to learn more about DLD and language needs, including how to support your child at home and how to access further information, please join us for this free training event taking place around the county in recognition of National DLD Awareness Day.
The Communication and Interaction Team and Speech and Language Therapy service will lead this informal session. There will also be an opportunity for questions. For a free place please contact Sue Vanstone 01392 287239 email sue.vanstone@babcockinternational.com
